Career Subjects
On the 29th of August 2018, Tamaki college had and Career Subject thing. I didn't know what to call it but it had different options and different displays for the year 10's to choose for when they enter year 11 the following year. At first, I wanted to choose Health and P.E but I changed my idea on health to Automotive. I changed my mind because I think that P.E is a little bit related to P.E. I picked P.E because it'll help me when I go into SAS. I thought of automotive because I think it'll be related to guns and it might help me if anything goes wrong with heavy army equipment. At first, I wanted to be a rugby player but realized that you'll need a lot of skills and training to compete with other skilled players in New Zealand or the world. I then thought of being an Electrical Engineer but it's related to maths and it's one of the subjects that I'm not good at. Then I chose the Army or Navy. If I couldn't get in the Army or Navy, I thought of being a Firefighter because I want to help people and save people but I'll have to deal with the stress which I am very good at. If I also can't do Firefighting, I'll do normal Engineering like fixing cars and making new things like making a new car.

Health: Tobacco Effects
1. What is the main function of your lungs?
Your lungs main functions is to breathe in and out and to Filter out dust in the air which travels through your tubes connected to your lungs. When you smoke, your lungs has to filter out the chemicals in the cigarettes and it becomes hard for it to filter but if you smoked for a really long time, tar builds up in you body and it becomes hard for it to breathe.

2 - 3. What colour is a Healthy Lung? What colour is a Unhealthy Lung?
The healthy colour of a lung is either red or pink. When you smoke the colour of you lungs change a lot. The colour it changes to is Black, Brown or Orange.

Food Tech - Making Mini Quiche
Today we made Mini Quiches for Daniel, Justin and myself. I thought we were going to make Normal Burgers but we made quiches instead. First we had to cut the pastry into 9 pieces and make three more with the leftovers. Second we had to dice the the ham and put it back into the bowl so it can be ready when we need it. Then we put the small pastry into the muffin tray and flattened it to the bottom. We then put the diced ham on top of the pastry and then the cheese on top of the ham. We tipped the egg and milk that we whisked before on the cheese and ham equally. this was the result of our cooking below.
